Cabaret queen Mistress Ginger marks her 20th anniversary year with an intimate evening of Broadway treasures, cabaret gems, and the songs that have shaped two decades of performance. With pianist Casey Rafn by her side, she digs into her archive, tackles a few tunes she’s always wanted to sing, and serves up high glamour, sweet stories, and Big Diva Energy.

Casey Rafn, piano

Casey Rafn enjoys a varied career as a pianist, music director, and recording artist. Recent collaborations include performances with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, and Cantus, with the Star Tribune praising his playing as having done "extraordinary things with the music all evening." He is a member of the Latin Grammy-nominated trio Trés, which premiered and recorded a new work by composer Angélica Negrón earlier this year. He serves as pianist for VocalEssence and the Basilica of Saint Mary, and has held positions at the University of Minnesota School of Music and Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists.

I'm thrilled to welcome my dear friend Oron Stenesh as special guest for this performance of On a Clear Day. A true Broadway baby with irresistible cabaret chops, Oron brings warmth, humor, and heart to every stage he steps onto.
